I am involved in music for my church, and have a number of musical interests.
I sing (baritone or tenor.)
I used to play the trumpet, though I haven't practiced in quite some time!
I play a wind synthesizer, a Roland Aerophone AE-20.
I have written several songs (or modern hymns). Some of these are set to traditional or well known tunes (such as Calon Lan, Londonderry Air, etc); others can be sung to music I wrote.
I cannot play a keyboard instrument, much to my dismay! (though I can play a melody single handed.)
If you wish to download any of the words, sheet music or backing tracks (as MP3) you are free to use them in any church service, small group, etc. However, I would appreciate you emailing me when you use them - thanks (you can use the Contact link above.)
Words will open in a new window or tab (as per your browser preferences.) Music PDF will open in a new window or tab, and can also be downloaded directly if required. The backing track MP3 file will probably play unless you ask your browser to download it.
I find that an appropriate range for congregational singing should not exceed A3 to E5 (Bb to Eb is safer.) The music is accordingly fitted to these ranges. If you want to use something, but desperately need it in another key, email me: mastered in Presonus Notion music notation software, songs are quite simple to transpose.
